A Tea for Noelie

Once upon a time there was a birthday princess and she was so happy...

There was also a Prince Charming
Time for a spot of tea
And a little royal meltdown

Happy 4th Birthday Noelie!

We had a wonderful tea party for Noelie and her school friends. We played games and Noelie took her guests one by one to go and 'pet my baby brother'. She told them they could only touch his feet and not his face. (Probably thinking if they had food he'd bite!)Oh we had other games like pin the top on the teapot and Elephun but the pet the baby brother game went over best.

MiMi and Carol worked very hard doing pastries and sandwiches for the big event. They also made big butterflies for the chairs and big flowers for the centerpieces.

Of course no party is without it's drama. The birthday girl acted as if her crown was a little too tight the first half hour but this made for some great pics! Fortunately she snapped out of it once the sugar was served. Also the cake originally came saying Happy Birthday Phoebe and then we returned it to be fixed and they put the topper on it and it had a little landslide down the cake but we managed to turn things around!

Today we went to the dentist and the birthday princess got a crown - on her royal molar. Needless to say this was more traumatic than the routine cleaning. I wish they had sedation denistry for the parents there to hold their babies down! Looks like we'll be cutting back on the juice boxes for a while!
