Still here....

Well, after an emergency run to the hospital Saturday, the doctors were able to stop the labor as it was still a tad too early. On the other hand, Noelie picked up some new phrases for her vocabulary from the drive over (we decided not to wait on anyone to come to the house before we left - minor fear of mine about a road side delivery - most impressive phrase "move it damn it.") Three years of sheltering her from the bad words and we blow it in one 20 minute drive.

So on Father's Day Sunday my mom arrived with a nice pot roast for lunch and her luggage. Jason responded by pretending to down a bottle of cheap wine while Noelie yelled "Party". Not sure if that was to Jason's fake boozing or to the fact her MiMi was moving in for a bit. No complaints from me as we've ate better these past few days than we have in months. It's amazing the healing effects of a big dose of rice and gravy.

We went Tuesday to check up on things with the doctor and the baby looks good. Due to my 'adverse reaction' to the medicine to keep labor at bay (I couldn't keep anything down), I am no longer on medication. She has opted to still keep me off of my feet for a week but if labor happens again they will not stop it at this point...so now we wait and see.

A big shout out to Aunt Jana who on a moment's notice was able to meet us at the front door of the hospital and fetch Noelie for the day. She had a blast with her cousins and their big fancy pool!
