Strikin a pose with Aunt Andrea
Catching snow flurries
Eli with the girls - Auntie H and AndreaAfter my last post can you believe it actually snowed today.... real snow. Not the out of the machine kind. This was Noelie's first snowfall even though there was not enough to hang around and play in. Amazingly as she was walking in it her first instinct was to stick out her tongue and catch it! Daddy will have to also educate her on the perils of yellow snow... a talk he was hoping not to have to have since we geographically are not prone to such. Noelie's reaction (through complete giddiness): "It's beautiful." Quite funny.
Earlier today, prior to the brief snowflakes, Eli met his Aunties H and Andrea for the first time. Good to see the girls again. Pics to come.
In other recent news, Noelie had her dress rehearsal on Monday for her upcoming dance 'performance'. Hilarious. If I can figure out how to load video, I will do so. Let's just say she is precious in her little tutu but the grace has yet to follow... there was some nose pickin (she swears it was just an itch), some horrible skippin, some moments that she decided to study the floor, etc. Best of all, the girl knows where her spot is! All little ballerinas know that you have to stay on your color tape and you're not supposed to drift too far from it. Well she was very concerned about this and after a little dance in a circle action another little girl (much bigger in size as Noelie is by far the smallest and youngest in the class) stopped on Noelie's spot. Well Noelie nudged in there and wouldn't budge.... Hey chick, this is my real estate! Finally she gently informed the girl that she wasn't giving up her entitled place and then gently nudged said girl to her own rightful place on the back row. At least she has some spunk!
