Eli's comfort level with food

Miss Manners would have a stroke seeing this picture, but Eli has become quite relaxed at the dinner table.

His communication skills are coming along nicely and what we cannot understand verbally he just bypasses us and does for himself. For example, when he wants a bottle he goes to the fridge and beats on it until someone notices. When he wants dinner he goes, grabs his bib, puts it around his neck and takes an adult by the hand to the kitchen and pulls out his chair at the table... yep, no room for doubt what he wants!

We go tomorrow for his 18 month check up... should be interesting. ( I am just hoping that it goes smoother than Noelie's doctor appointment last week where she ran underneath my chair and held on for dear life. I had to put her with the chair still in hand on the examining table for her finger prick so they could get the bloodwork. Note: We'll need to work on that.)

I have also included a pic of his new 'do. Sucker was the bribe for staying in the chair. It worked wonderfully barring the hair getting stuck to it which was not so great. He looks so different!

Also of note is this picture of Noelie. Funny on so many levels. A) this was first thing in the morning... I see this. B) she put this together herself out of her hairdresser play set and found matching pink shoes and C) she was so serious while trying to freeze me. Princess Super Hero (coined by my cousin Brooke)... it's about time!

Also, just returned from Eli's 18 month doctor's appointment
Height 34 inches (85th percentile)
Weight 32 lbs 7 oz (97th percentile)
Advice from doctor: Be nice to him as he's going to be bigger than you and me both. Nice!
