Maw Maw Allen telling some funny jokes.Sorry it's been a little while since we've updated things. Just adjusting to life with an infant and a toddler, and now it's time for work to start up again.
We've had lots of visitors the past few weeks to come by and take a look at our big guy. He is now around 12 lbs and only 6 weeks old! I may be finally working toward that upper body strength I always wish I had... If only it could have came 15 years before to keep me from doing flipflops and landing on my head. Oh well. What's a little concussion now and then. (I'm sure those who have known me a while are saying "Well that explains a lot":)
Big news for Noelie! She's now going potty like a big girl and we couldn't be more happy. Seemed like all we were doing is changing diapers - we were regretting we didn't have stock in Pampers for our 401K since we obviously have been major contributors to the Pampers corporation in recent years. She will also be starting Preschool in a few weeks which I am thrilled to happen, although it now takes us forever to get dressed and out the door with the little guy in the mix. Hopefully we'll at least get it down to less than two hours one day. So if we're supposed to make a visit somewhere near you, just expect us to be late, it's just unavoidable right now and that drives me nuts!
Eli is just a growing boy. We'll go back in a few weeks to the doctor for a weigh in but our best guess is 12 lbs. He is a big eater, we kept thinking with his taking 6 oz of milk at a time that he would be spreading out the feedings more, but we are still having to feed him every three hours. With Noelie, we never even got to the 6 oz mark and here we are already. Unfortunatley we also have found out he has acid reflux so we never know when feeding him if we will end up wearing that bottle he's drinking (hence our tardiness).
We all went to visit family in Orange during the week last week just for the day. So a bunch of folks got to meet the little man for the first time and somehow Noelie ended up with as many gifts as Eli. Let me tell you, she's made out quite well in the gift department these past few weeks.

Happy B-day Great Grammie!We also now have Noelie and Eli's Great Grammie Edna in Houston now. She's living right down the road from us so we were able to celebrate her 83rd bday with her earlier this week.
