Just before Easter service.
Noelie and Zoe taking a pic with the Frey bunnies before they were 'set free'
Eli waiting on the girls to get dressed, crashed out before getting his pic taken.
... and so did Eggie. After two weeks' worth of egg hunts and sugar overload, we're finally to the big day. We started off the day going to church... a service that started an hour and a half earlier than the service we're usually late for. haha! We even had extra time to stop and take a picture on the way in.
Who knew my two year old was such a sucker for suits. He is growing up so much and not just in size. He has gotten so good with counting and letters. He is also speaking more and more in words we can actually understand.
Noelie is getting ready to wrap up Kindergarten year. She even has a little girl in the class calling her to chat some evenings. She has grown more accepting of Eli and even asked on Friday if we 'can keep him?'... referring to the brother and not even the dog this time. Haha! I hope the rest of this summer she holds the same feeling when we have a whole lotta together time:)
We've been busy folks the past few months. We've had a good chance to visit the family in Orange not once but twice in that amount of time. Some sort of record I'm sure. MawMaw Allen probably has to mentally prepare for Eli climbing in bed and smothering her with kisses. He's usually a little stingy with those kisses but has no problem giving them to her. One of our visits the kids had their first overnight trip - the first we had brave enough babysitters to take on both of them (and try to take Easter pics as well) - while mommy and daddy went and donated their money to the casino in Lake Charles. Oh well, it was a nice place to stay at least and we had a good time celebrating Tim's 40th and catching up with old friends we haven't seen in a good while.
